Visit us in Gee’s Bend to shop for quilts, apparel, and handmade goods, as part of our mission to preserve quilting traditions while creating economic opportunities within the community.
Each year, visitors can also shop directly from local makers during The Gee’s Bend Airing of the Quilts Festival, held on the first Saturday in October.
The gift shop at the Freedom Quilting Bee Legacy features quilts by local makers, t-shirts, books, mugs, posters, and much more.
The Gee’s Bend Quilters Collective has a selection of quilts and textile artwork available for purchase, along with a small gallery featuring historical photographs of Gee’s Bend.
Located in Alberta, 4.3 miles after the turn onto County Road 29, this gift shop is a great first stop on the way to Gee’s Bend, with quilts, handmade crafts, locally baked goods, and a warm community welcome.
